The artistry of Our Conservatory Displays
It all begins with an idea. Our horticulture staff is extremely creative, and the team works together to bring floral ideas to life. The Conservatory shows are always changing - from week to week, new blooms are brought into the Conservatory for the public to enjoy.
The display begins in early February with spring blooms. Stop by frequently to check out the new flowers, which are brought out as they bloom. February, March, and April feature hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, and lilies. They are all gorgeous, and also refreshing during the dull winter months.
May and June bring our summer flowers. Enjoy these blooms as the air gets warmer and the Conservatory feels tropical. This is a great time of year to enjoy the many tropical plants. July and August bring our hardiest plants that can withstand the Conservatory’s heat.
The fall is a beautiful season in the Conservatory, featuring mums, mums, and more mums. The Chrysanthemum Display is a 100+ year tradition, and our staff is excited to bring these beautiful plants out for the public to enjoy.
The culmination of the year hits in December with our Poinsettia & Lights Display. Another long-held tradition, the poinsettias are stunning amidst the thousands of lights put up by the horticulture team. Celebrate the holidays under the lights at the Conservatory. It is the best possible atmosphere for the most special time of the year.
